What Is a Digital Cutting Machine?

A digital cutting machine consists of a motorized blade or oscillating tool, a vacuum‑mounted mat, and a computer‑controlled motion system. The blade follows a pre‑programmed path, delivering high‑precision cuts on flexible, semi‑rigid, or thick materials.

How to Operate One

  1. Connect the vacuum pump and air compressor.
  2. Power on the machine and press the Start button.
  3. Use the control panel’s Origin function to home the head.
  4. Upload your design file from the PC to the panel and press Drag.
  5. The head automatically feeds the material over the mat.
  6. Check and set the cutting depth with the Y‑Depth control.
  7. Adjust the depth via the + button for the specific cut.
  8. Move the head to the target area and test with Y‑Test.
  9. When the cut is complete, press Absorb to secure the material.
  10. Reset the head to origin with Zero and repeat as needed.
