Precision Horizontal & Vertical Pick‑Up Lathes for Large‑Scale Production

The MVC vertical lathe has an acceleration of almost 1 g. The blank is carried out of the workpiece magazine into the work area for machining.

The company says the lathe is useful for large series operations, allowing customized automation solutions to be implemented.

The MHC is a horizontal machine with standard automation. With a swing of 22”, it has a turning diameter of 20” and can accomodate a maximum workpiece length of 10”.

The feed drives travel in both axes at 1,180 ipm. Other features include a turret that carries 12 tools and a headstock, which travels out of the work area toward the workpiece magazine via a hydrostatic guidebar.
