Lathrop Trotter is proud to welcome Chris Collins to our team! Chris brings nearly two decades of experience in the utilities and energy sector to his role as System Sales Engineer – Power and Utility, covering central and eastern Kentucky.
Chris holds an MBA and a B.S. in Business from Western Governors University, along with an Executive Leadership certification from Indiana University (SE). He is also NERC certified and has specialized training in power plant and substation operations.
His career spans in leadership roles for power plant operations, regulatory compliance, and business development with EPC firms and specialty contractors. His expertise in utility systems, labor relations, and large-scale project execution allows him to deliver practical, efficient solutions that support Lathrop Trotter’s mission of providing high-performance equipment and service to power generation customers.
Chris is married and the proud father of three daughters. Outside of work, he enjoys traveling, playing golf, and serving in the children’s ministry at Southeast Christian Church. His commitment to family, faith, and community is at the heart of both his personal and professional life.
