STMicroelectronics has launched SensorTile.box, a versatile plug‑and‑play IoT module that empowers users—from novices to seasoned engineers—to capture sensor data and deliver it seamlessly to the cloud.
Equipped with Bluetooth Low Energy, the module pairs effortlessly with smartphones, enabling real‑time monitoring for applications such as pedometers, asset trackers, and environmental sensors. For advanced developers, SensorTile.box offers both a graphical wizard and full‑code editor, providing the flexibility to build complex IoT solutions.
Designed to fit the Azure IoT Central ecosystem, SensorTile.box simplifies device onboarding and data analysis, making it an ideal showcase platform for Azure’s intuitive IoT management portal.
The module houses ST’s MEMS sensors for motion, context, and environmental sensing within a rugged 57 × 38 × 20 mm, IP54‑rated enclosure. It will be available worldwide starting in early June.
