IoT World 2021: Return to In‑Person & Hybrid Event in Santa Clara, Nov 2‑4

In the face of an evolving COVID‑19 landscape, Informa Tech has consistently prioritized the health and safety of attendees, exhibitors, speakers, and staff. As conditions for large‑scale gatherings become clearer, we are excited to announce that IoT World 2021 will now take place from November 2–4 at the Santa Clara Convention Center, following its traditional April schedule.

Building on the success of our virtual IoT World in August 2020, which attracted participants from 94 countries, the 2021 edition will operate as a hybrid event. In‑person attendees in North America will connect seamlessly with our global virtual audience for the first time. Meanwhile, regional events such as IoT World Europe, Asia, China, and Africa will remain virtual, creating a worldwide festival of IoT innovation.

Exhibitors and sponsors who earned credits in 2020 will receive automated credit transfers to the November 2021 event. Sales representatives will contact you shortly with details and help secure booth space. You will also have early access to participate in the Embedded IoT World Virtual event, the IoT at the Edge Digital Symposium, and a range of media advertising and marketing opportunities through IoT World Today.

Attendees who paid for the 2020 in‑person event will automatically receive an equivalent‑value pass for the fall conference.

IoT World 2021 will co‑locate with the sixth annual AI Summit Silicon Valley, both organized by Informa Tech. Merging these two leading industry programs ensures a comprehensive representation of the IoT ecosystem—from components and devices to AI applications—in the world’s largest IoT and AI expo.

The hybrid format offers enterprise leaders a consolidated event that addresses both IoT and AI, streamlining travel and maximizing time in the office.

Key focus areas for the eighth annual IoT World include:

  1. Advancements across the IoT ecosystem to accelerate end‑to‑end solutions.
  2. Integration of IoT with 5G, edge computing, and AI to drive digital transformation.
  3. Industrial IoT applications enabling enterprises to thrive in the new normal.
  4. Immediate strategies for securing the IoT landscape.

The event will also feature Elevating Founders USA, a startup program co‑hosted with Founders Forum, showcasing business‑ready IoT and AI startups alongside an investor community to fuel market disruption.

Both IoT World and AI Summit 2021 adhere to the Informa AllSecure Standard—developed in partnership with UFI, AEO, SISO, and other industry stakeholders—to uphold rigorous health and safety protocols post‑COVID‑19. View the full Informa AllSecure Standard here.

*Offer is valid for registered IoT World 2020 San Jose attendees only. This offer is subject to review and approval by the IoT World event team. We reserve the right to deny registrants who do not meet these qualifications.
