Why Piston Cooling Oil Flows from Bottom to Top

In this article,I have mentioned the reason of questions why piston cooling oil goes from bottom to top and not top to bottom ?

Why piston cooling oil goes from bottom to top and not top to bottom

As we see that in the main engine ,piston is cooled by oil. This cooling oil goes to the piston through piston rod.we see that cooling oil goes from bottom to top .

There is questions in my mind that why this oil goes from top to bottom.

The reason behind movement of cooling oil from bottom to top but not from top to bottom is to keep the crown of piston full of cooling oil at all time.

It is important particularly, during dead ship when coolant is not shaken up as when the engine running at full speed.
