Senseye Expands U.S. Automotive Operations with Advanced Predictive Maintenance Deployments
Senseye, the industrial software company, today announced that its suite of technologies and methodologies are being rolled out in automotive manufacturing facilities in the U.S.
Senseye's technology suite, Senseye PdM, is used by global automotive manufacturers to monitor the condition of machinery in real time. It spots emerging problems with monitored assets and identifies when they are most likely to fail by using machine learning algorithms to analyze data relating to key condition indicators such as vibration, pressure, temperature and torque levels.
Implemented as part of best practice digital transformation initiatives designed to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of manufacturing and mai
ntenance operations, Senseye PdM is proven to halve levels of unplanned downtime, increase maintenance efficiency by up to 40 percent and reduce the financial and environmental risks associated with machine failures. Senseye’s technologies can be deployed at scale within 14 days and typically delivers a complete Return on Investment within three months of adoption.
Senseye’s automotive customers include Nissan North America, Inc, which has worked with Senseye since 2013 to optimize maintenance activities and make repairs months before predicted machine failure. Nissan has now expanded its contract to cover its plants in Smyrna, Canton and Mexico.
Simon Kampa, founder and CEO at Senseye, comments: “We are delighted to be supporting digital transformation and manufacturing innovation at automotive manufacturers around the world. We aim to deliver truly advanced manufacturing operations by working in partnership with our customers, enabling them to achieve manufacturing and maintenance best practice.”
