Aeration Blowers Vlog 3: How Cool Canopies Protect Equipment from Heat
Aeration Blowers VLOG: Engineered to Excel
Episode 3: The Cool Canopy
What is a cool canopy? A cool canopy is an enclosure that is designed to protect your rotating equipment from its worst enemy: HEAT. Our rotary lobe blowers use forced air cooling, allowing them to safely operate in environments of up to 120°F. On blowers with integrated VFD controls, a separate, filtered cooling air intake allows you to maintain control of your process even if you are feeling the heat. Our cool canopies exhaust the heat from the blower and controls through a common discharge. This allows you to duct the hot exhaust outside, reducing your building cooling load in summer. Air from the blower relief valve is also ducted out of the canopy. This keeps your equipment cool, even when the pressure is high.
