Alkon Launches DuraLink DOT Tubing with Push‑to‑Connect Fittings for Unmatched Durability & Strength
Alkon Corp. introduced its new DuraLink DOT tubing, which now pairs with Alkon’s DOT push-to-connect fittings to deliver exceptional durability, strength, and consistency across a wide range of applications.
DuraLink DOT tubing is manufactured in the United States to provide dependable supply and stable lead times. It exceeds SAE J844 and DOT FMVSS 49 CFR 571.106 standards, delivering tensile strength that reaches nearly twice the SAE peak load requirement. The tubing also achieves elongation levels that far surpass the required benchmark.
Alkon DuraLink DOT tubingWhen paired with Alkon fittings, DuraLink DOT tubing provides best-in-class performance. In-house testing revealed that the closest U.S. competitor’s fitting and tubing combination reaches less than 20% of the DuraLink Solution’s elongation. Imported products fall 40% short of Alkon’s tensile strength.
While engineered to achieve optimal results with Alkon fittings, DuraLink DOT tubing also enhances the reliability of other manufacturers’ fittings. U.S. competitor fittings show significant improvement when switching to DuraLink DOT tubing, increasing 145% in elongation and 43% in tensile. These results reinforce the quality and consistency built into every DuraLink product.
DuraLink DOT tubing is available in a range of colors and diameters and can be ordered in standard roll lengths or cut-to-length. The product line reflects Alkon’s commitment to reliable U.S. manufacturing and to providing customers with trusted performance.
“Alkon’s DuraLink DOT tubing and fittings are engineered to perform together, delivering unmatched reliability, performance, and peace of mind in every air brake connection,” said Rich Yori, President
Alkon Corp.
