We selected a handful of integrations to evaluate using AppNeta’s Experience monitoring. The synthetic script loads the Salesforce home page, logs in, and then measures the time each integration takes to populate data in the Account view.

Baseline: The script loads the home page and authenticates in roughly one second per step—consistent with normal web performance. The page appears fully rendered before the final load time reported.

The initial load averaged 2.2 seconds; with the added integrations it spikes to 24.4 seconds—an 11-fold increase. On average, each new integration adds about 4.35 seconds to every account view.

That extra waiting time directly erodes productivity. Assuming 20 seconds per account, 100 accounts per day, a rep spends roughly 30 minutes idly each day. At a conservative $25 per hour wage on an 8-hour shift, that’s $200 earned per day and $12.50 lost to Salesforce latency. Over a 50-week year, a single rep accrues $3,125 in idle wages.

With 100 sales reps, the cost balloons to more than $300,000 annually in lost employee time, totaling 125 hours per rep—or 12,500 hours company-wide.
