Mobileum Acquires WeDo Technologies to Expand Global Risk & Revenue Management Solutions

Bobby Srinivasan, Mobileum CEO

Mobileum Inc., a leading global analytics provider for roaming, fraud and risk management, has announced its acquisition of WeDo Technologies, a Lisbon‑based specialist in revenue assurance and fraud prevention. The deal will enhance both companies’ product portfolios and broaden their reach across the telecom sector.

This marks Mobileum’s second strategic acquisition, following the purchase of Evolved Intelligence in October 2018. While the financial terms remain undisclosed, the partnership is expected to accelerate innovation and deliver greater value to mobile operators worldwide.

Founded in 2001, WeDo Technologies has served more than 200 customers, including top global telecom and media players, across 105 countries. Its suite of risk‑management solutions leverages advanced analytics to monitor revenue streams, automate business processes, and safeguard against fraud.

“WeDo is a leader in risk management, business optimisation and fraud prevention,” says Bobby Srinivasan. “By combining WeDo’s strong product engineering, consulting services, and customer base with Mobileum’s Active Intelligence platform, we will offer a deeper, more comprehensive set of solutions to CSPs worldwide.”

Rui Paiva, CEO of WeDo Technologies, adds: “Mobileum’s complementary global reach and expertise make it the ideal partner as we scale our solutions. Together, we will expand our portfolio in revenue assurance, fraud management, network security, roaming and interconnect, enabling our customers to navigate the evolving mobile landscape.”

Mobileum has grown its analytics suite since its acquisition by Audax Private Equity in 2016. With 18 years of experience in roaming, Mobileum’s Active Intelligence platform delivers real‑time insights across roaming, fraud and security domains.

The merger will fuse WeDo’s risk and business‑management capabilities with Mobileum’s advanced analytics, creating an end‑to‑end framework for fraud prevention, risk mitigation and revenue assurance for network operators.

Post‑acquisition, Mobileum and WeDo will operate as a single organization of over 1,100 employees in more than 30 locations, serving more than 700 customers in 180+ countries.

Mobileum’s analytics solutions support over 600 CSPs in 150 countries, focusing on roaming and interconnect, counter‑fraud, data monetisation and digital transformation.

Headquartered in Silicon Valley, Mobileum maintains offices in Argentina, Dubai, Hong Kong, India, Jordan, Singapore, the United Kingdom and Uruguay.
