PTC Launches ThingWorx Digital Performance Management for IIoT

PTC is simplifying the capture of real‑time performance data across industrial IoT networks.

The company’s newest addition to its ThingWorx portfolio, the Digital Performance Management (DPM) Solution, aggregates production metrics from disparate sources into a single, real‑time dashboard, offering predictive “drag‑forecasts” that pinpoint bottlenecks.

Unveiled during the virtual Manufacturing Live event, the IIoT solution is a self‑regulating, self‑measuring platform that delivers closed‑loop problem‑solving capabilities. DPM optimizes resource allocation and delivers performance insights in minutes, presented in an intuitive, metric‑driven format.

Craig Melrose, PTC’s Executive Vice President of Digital Transformation Solutions, noted that while manufacturers view digital transformation as essential, many only achieve incremental gains instead of large‑scale, transformational impact.

“PTC’s new ThingWorx DPM enables firms to tackle the most critical manufacturing improvements, solving common challenges and driving efficiency and transformation at scale,” Melrose said.

PTC President & CEO Jim Heppelmann highlighted that this release marks a pivotal milestone in the company’s mission to help manufacturers generate tangible business value.
