FedEx, PepsiCo, Amazon, Ford to Lead Key Sessions at IoT World Silicon Valley 2021
Industry leaders from across the Internet of Things (IoT) ecosystem are gathering for one of the year’s largest in‑person conferences in Silicon Valley next week.
Speakers from FedEx, Ford, MunichRe, PepsiCo, Omdia, Amazon, Anheuser‑Busch InBev, and Levi Strauss will headline the agenda.
Attendees at IoT World Silicon Valley in Santa Clara, California, on November 3 and 4 will have the chance to network with peers, explore a comprehensive exhibit hall, and dive into thought‑provoking sessions.
Day 1 opens with a keynote by Tracci Schultz, FedEx’s Senior Vice President for Strategic Planning, who will examine how IoT technology and innovation are transforming traditional industries.
Later that day, Michael Berger, MunichRe’s Head of AI Insurance, will discuss industrial IoT (IIoT) and the performance risks of deploying artificial intelligence in this domain, highlighting key successes for procurement leaders.
Day 2 features a fireside chat with Louis DiCesari, Levi Strauss & Co.’s Global Head of Data, Analytics and AI, focusing on customer experience, marketing, and e‑commerce.
Also on Day 2, Monika Mangla, Chevron’s Digital Transformation Strategy and Program Manager, will co‑host a session on extracting business value from IoT data with Trent Salvaggio, Executive Director of the IoT Talent Consortium.
Additional highlights include:
- Denis Vilfort, Chief Storyteller and Director of Business Development at Hewlett Packard Enterprise, joining René Torres, Intel Vice President of Sales, Marketing and Communications, to explore future IIoT powered by fully AI‑driven operations optimization.
- Jay Kachhadia, ViacomCBS Data Scientist, presenting on AI encoding to reduce video latency and cut operational costs such as bandwidth and data storage.
- An open session on the Embedded IoT World track, guiding practitioners in selecting partners to build secure, functional, and reliable embedded technologies.
Attendees will also hear cutting‑edge case studies on digital transformation from both IoT and AI perspectives.
