Its core is the low‑power NXP i.MX6 UltraLite processor, which delivers reliable multimedia support while keeping energy consumption minimal.
With two memory options—512 MB or 1 GB of LPDDR3 RAM—the TS‑7180 delivers the performance needed for asset‑tracking applications, automatic asset management, and other mission‑critical tasks.
The board includes 4 GB of eMMC MLC flash that can be configured as 2 GB of pseudo‑SLC, enhancing system integrity and endurance. A 16‑kbit FRAM module offers non‑volatile storage that guarantees data retention without the overhead of traditional EEPROM, while TS‑SILO supercapacitors provide up to 30 seconds of reserve power during outages, enabling graceful shutdowns.
