Large‑Format 3D Printers For Your Biggest Ideas
Formlabs’ Form 3L and Form 3BL SLA printers sit at the core of the large‑format ecosystem. Their generous build volumes—33.5 × 20 × 30 cm (13.2 × 7.9 × 11.8 in)—enable a single job to produce one sizeable model or dozens of smaller parts. Built around a state‑of‑the‑art Light Processing Unit, the printers support remote operation and automatic resin dispensing, making them both user‑friendly and highly efficient.
The Form 3L is engineered for rapid prototyping and batch production of large components, while the Form 3BL targets the healthcare sector, allowing accurate, full‑scale patient anatomy, large medical devices, or multiple parts per build. Both models are fully compatible with Formlabs’ extensive SLA material library, including engineering and biocompatible grades.
Automated Post‑Processing for Large‑Scale SLA 3D Prints
All SLA prints require thorough washing to remove residual resin and benefit from post‑curing to unlock full material properties. Automated washing and curing are also mandatory for many biocompatible and sterilizable materials, as specified in their Instructions For Use.
Form Wash L and Form Cure L bring the same level of precision and convenience to large‑format prints that our desktop solutions offer, delivering consistent, high‑quality results.
Smooth, Clean, High‑Quality Parts Every Time
Form Wash L agitates the wash solvent with two magnetic impellers, efficiently removing excess resin and leaving parts pristine. After washing, the system lifts the components to a drying platform, preventing over‑soaking and warping.
Compatible with isopropyl alcohol (IPA) and tripropylene glycol methyl ether (TPM), Form Wash L includes an embedded solvent monitor that tracks saturation levels and alerts you when replacement is needed.
Optimized for all Formlabs SLA materials and accessories, the machine comes pre‑loaded with recommended wash programs for each resin, reducing cycle time. It can accommodate one Form 3L build platform or two Form 3 build platforms with the included adapter, integrating seamlessly into any Formlabs SLA workflow.
Form Wash L washes really smoothly, and the part was much cleaner than after my manual washes. Formlabs hit a homerun with this one.

Rapid, High‑Intensity Curing For Peak Performance
Form Cure L harnesses heat, UV light, and uniform exposure to bring parts to their maximum mechanical strength and dimensional stability.
Its reflective interior and rotating glass turntable guarantee that UV light reaches every surface, while two 500‑W heaters elevate the temperature to 80 °C in under 15 minutes for rapid, effective curing.
Like Form Wash L, Form Cure L offers pre‑programmed cure settings for each material, streamlining operations.
Form Cure L has been great. It is really nice to put in the part, select the material, and just have it do its thing.
