Swisslog Secures Major Automation Contracts in Scandinavia and Southeast Asia
Swisslog has been commissioned to carry out the comprehensive automation of the Coop warehouse in Langhus.
The delivery includes a high-bay pallet warehouse with six Vectura stacker cranes and a conveyor system, which are controlled by the intelligent Swisslog software SynQ.
The new distribution centre will be in full operation at the beginning of 2021.
The company has also won an order with BLU, an e-commerce startup in Singapore to expand its intralogistics system to automate its warehouse.
The new system will be rebuilt together with an existing system.
The project includes the planning and implementation of a robotic storage and order picking solution, including conveyor technology and in-house SynQ software, and will be operational by the end of 2019.
