COBOT Case Packer: Efficient Lid & Container Packing with Collaborative Robotics

Muller Technology—based in Fort Collins, Colorado and formerly known as CBW Automation—has unveiled its COBOT case packer, a dedicated solution for packing lids and containers.

COBOT Case Packer: Efficient Lid & Container Packing with Collaborative Robotics

The system centers around an Omron 6‑axis collaborative robot that works side‑by‑side with a human operator, eliminating the need for safety guards and enabling seamless teamwork.

A standard Muller Human‑Machine Interface (HMI) lets operators load multiple recipes for a variety of stack and box sizes, ensuring quick adaptation to changing packaging needs.

Manufactured in both Switzerland and Colorado, the COBOT case packer can be purchased as a stand‑alone unit or integrated into Muller's broader M‑Line automation line—a fully integrated robotic system designed for high‑throughput environments.

Muller reports that the portable, rapid‑changeover design has already found traction with several customers across the United States and Europe, underscoring its proven value in real‑world production settings.
