Tomorrow is America's Flag Day: Here’s Why You Should Celebrate
Here in the United States, June 14th is Flag Day. Although the first recognized Flag Day occurred in Wisconsin in 1885, Americans have been officially celebrating our flag, a symbol of freedom, since President Woodrow Wilson proclaimed it Flag Day in 1916. Flag Day celebrates the anniversary of the Flag Resolution of 1777.
So Americans, hang the Stars and Stripes out there this Friday, June 14th in front of your homes and businesses! We are not perfect but we are full of determination and devotion to liberty, justice, and freedom for all. I guarantee you my flag WILL be flying.
