Cutting Depth Recommendations

As you can see for every insert multiple cutting-edge-length are given as for CNMM 06, 09, 12, 16, 19, 25mm cutting edge lengths are given.
So now you can easily get the data for inserts you use in workshop, whether you use CNMM 120408 or CNMG 190624 or any other insert.
Now Cutting depth column is divided in three separate parts, Finishing, Medium, Roughing.

According to this chart a CNMM insert whose cutting edge length is 9mm can be used for Finishing with cutting depth minimum to 2mm max.
If same insert is used for Medium machining cutting depth might be selected from 1.5mm to 3.5mm

CNMG250924
According to chart CNMG250924 cannot be used for Finishing, this insert can be used from Medium to Roughing machining operations.
