Powered by the Intel Atom E3940 quad‑core SoC, the unit delivers up to 1.8 GHz with turbo burst and supports up to 8 GB of DDR3L 1866 MHz SO‑DIMM memory, making it ideal for machine‑automation, intelligent‑factory, in‑cabinet integration and IoT gateway deployments.

The ARK‑1220 arrives pre‑loaded with Advantech’s WISE‑PaaS/DeviceOn IoT device‑management platform, the industry’s first zero‑touch solution that unifies software and hardware. The platform provides real‑time health monitoring, over‑the‑air firmware updates, and a hardened security stack that includes TPM 2.0, optional BitLocker on Windows 10 IoT, and integrated McAfee and Acronis protection for virus defense and data recovery.
