TE Connectivity HTU31: Precision Humidity & Temperature Sensor with Linear Response

In a compact 6‑pin DFN package, the TE Connectivity HTU31 delivers accurate humidity and temperature readings with a typical ±2% RH and ±0.2°C performance. Available in both digital and analog formats, this sensor is engineered for a wide range of applications—including home appliances, consumer electronics, industrial systems, and medical devices.

Linear Response for Reliable System Performance

The HTU31 maintains a strict linear curve across the full range of 0 to 100% RH and –40 °C to +125 °C, ensuring predictable behavior in every environment. Its fast response time of 5 seconds T63 (time to reach 63% of the final value) guarantees quick adjustments. Even under condensation, the sensor responds in just 10 seconds T63, preserving performance where moisture is a concern.

Versatile Interfaces and Operating Range

Both analog and digital versions combine multiple functions with a variety of interfaces—including I2C, analog voltage output, and simple voltage output. They operate over a supply voltage range of 3.3 V to 5.5 V (5 V typical). The digital variant offers two configurable I2C addresses, enabling simultaneous monitoring of humidity and temperature at two distinct locations on a single I2C bus line.

Fully calibrated and temperature‑compensated, the HTU31 is available in both small and large volume orders, making it a scalable solution for manufacturers of all sizes.
