GPS/GNSS

Global Positioning System (GPS) and other Global Navigation Satellite Systems (GNSS) provide outdoor location data by communicating with a constellation of satellites. While highly accurate, they consume significant power, which the SuperTag mitigates with complementary methods.

Wi‑Fi Location Lookups & Cell ID

The tag scans for Wi‑Fi BSSIDs and listens to nearby cell towers. These techniques are far more power‑efficient than GPS, and when paired with GPS they act as backup or primary sources depending on the environment.

Polte (Position Over LTE)

Partnering with Polte Corporation, we incorporated their patented LTE‑M triangulation technology. It delivers GPS‑like accuracy indoors and outdoors while consuming much less power, and enables indoor visibility without extra infrastructure.
