EN 1562 GJMW-350-4: Decarburized Annealed White Malleable Cast Iron for Industrial Applications
Material EN-GJMW-350-4 (former GTW-35-04 acc. to DIN 1692-82) is a white malleable cast iron which is used in electrical engineering for electric fittings and contact line components for rail vehicles, in machine engineering for roll carrier, roller suspension tracks as well as for fabric downholder for textile machines, for axle sleeves and nuts of agricultural machines, in construction trade for couplings in scaffolding, as wood connectors for roof framings, for components in scaffolding and concrete formwork as well as for water barriers and toggle nuts. Further application for hose couplings, gas meter fittings, hose clips for compressed air lines, de-aerator casings, for fittings as well as for steering units and fork heads for bicycles.
