DIN 1725-1 Grade 3.3318 F – High-Purity Aluminum Alloy (Al99.9Mg1)

The alloy Al99,9Mg1 belongs to the standardised glossing materials. It can be polished after preceding mechanical polishing chemically or electrolytically to high gloss. For using the high gloss surface a afterwards anodising is necessary. The degree of arranged reflection (gloss degree) dependents from the degree of purity of the alloy and the thickness of the produced anodising layer. The alloy Al99,9Mg1 is nature hard, i.e. with their a strength increase can be achieved only by cold forming. The material is well cold and warm fomrable, has a very good corrosion resistance and is also well anodically to be oxidized. Application: For metal goods, like building fittings, table-ware, flow pressed parts, autotrim and divides and for decoration and jeweller goods.
