DIN 1725-1 Grade 3.3206 H14 – High‑Strength, Corrosion‑Resistant, Weldable Alloy

This cold and hot hardenable material reaches mechanical strength from 200 to 250 MPa with A5-elongation at break of approx. 10 %. In the warm and cold-hardened state this alloy is only limited ductile, in the soft material condition however well. Weldability, corrosion resistance and anodising of this material are good. Due to the special suitability of this alloy for the extrusion those are present lot of profile cross-sectional shapes for application in static loading case in the automobile construction or in the building industry. The company Erbsloeh Aluminum leads under evenly this material number among other things the trade name AlMgSi0,3. It pay attention that only two further trade names (6030 and 466) of this company to this designation are to be assigned. Heat treatment for hardening: solution annealing: 525 to 540 °C, quenching on air or in water cold ageing: 5 to 8 d at ambient temperatures hot ageing: 4 to 16 h at 155 to 190 °C. Application: Window, doors, window walls, front plates, roller shutter, roll gates, bearing constructions, heat exchanger (gilled pipes), commercial motor vehicle superstructures, machine tables, metal goods, food industry, equipment of rail-mounted vehicles (stroke sun roofs, railroad car doors), optics, reflectors, operating sectors of hydraulic/pneumatics in mechanical engineering, trunk superstructures in the boat and shipbuilding, sail masts, road signs, trim in the automobile engineering, shower cubicles, fences and partitions, pipings in compressed gas tanks, camping furniture.
