Covestro Introduces 15 RAL‑2021 Trend Colors for Polycarbonate Resins

Covestro has unveiled 15 fresh hues from the RAL Color Feeling 2021+ palette across its polycarbonate (PC) resins, marking the first time this versatile material adopts the colors of a RAL color fan.

The RAL Color Feeling 2021+ matrix, developed in partnership with RAL—the world’s leading color‑standard authority founded in 1925—provides a definitive guide to the color trends that will shape future product, industrial, and architectural design. Integrating these shades into PC resins demonstrates Covestro’s commitment to advancing Color, Material, Finish (CMF) innovation.

To achieve precise, rapid color matching, Covestro’s design hubs in Italy, Thailand, India and China collaborated closely with RAL, completing the alignment of all 15 trend colors in just one month. In September, Covestro incorporated the RAL codes into its first two CMF trend reports for the automotive and electronics/appliance sectors.
