Kassow Robots Launch Seven‑Axis Cobots in North America Through Gibson Engineering

Denmark remains a global powerhouse in robotics, with a particular emphasis on collaborative robots (cobots) that work safely alongside human operators. While Universal Robots’ lightweight articulated‑arm cobots are already gaining traction among U.S. injection‑ and blow‑molding facilities, the latest entrant from Danish manufacturer Kassow Robots is poised to broaden the market’s reach.

Gibson Engineering of Norwood, Massachusetts, is the North American distributor for Kassow’s seven‑axis articulated cobots. These machines are available in a variety of sizes, offering a reach of 810 mm to 1,800 mm and a payload capacity ranging from 5 kg to 10 kg. The design combines a compact footprint with the flexibility of a multi‑axis platform, making them suitable for a wide spectrum of production tasks—from assembly to material handling.

For more detailed specifications and case studies, see the Kassow Robots product page and the Gibson Engineering distribution details.
