Universal Robots Partners with DLL to Offer Flexible Cobot Leasing
Collaborative robot maker Universal Robots (UR) has announced a new cobot leasing initiative in partnership with global vendor finance firm DLL. While several companies—such as Hirebotics, Vectis Automation, and Ready Robotics—already provide UR cobots on lease as part of turnkey solutions, this marks UR’s first dedicated leasing program.
DLL’s program delivers customized financing and leasing options, allowing customers to align payments with fluctuating cash flow, upgrade to newer models, or add additional cobots throughout the contract. At the end of the term, clients can choose to purchase the equipment, extend the lease, upgrade to the latest technology, or return the system.
UR’s global distributor network will collaborate directly with DLL to provide these flexible payment structures to customers worldwide.
The leasing models vary to meet individual business needs, and financing can also cover essential peripherals such as grippers, vision systems, and other accessories required for specific applications.
