Globeius Inc. Debuts Expanded Portfolio and U.S./Canada Presence at Amerimold 2021
Globeius Inc., formerly Plastics Solutions Inc., announced its expansion with new product lines, talent, and an extended footprint, debuting at Amerimold 2021.
Headquartered in Miami, Florida, Globeius represents a legacy of nearly four decades serving Latin America’s plastics sector. The recent rebrand reflects a broadened mandate that now covers the entire United States and Canada, adding offerings for both agricultural and general industrial markets.
Ernesto Sosa, President of Globeius, highlighted the company’s North American launch a few years ago and the appointment of Graeme Sands as General Manager. Based near Toronto, Sands brings almost 30 years of experience, including a tenure as Global Director of Product Management at Mold Masters, and specializes in hot‑runner systems and temperature‑control solutions.
Launching during the pandemic proved advantageous. By investing early in e‑marketing and a robust web presence, Globeius captured online sales while traditional in‑person outreach was limited, leveraging the “Amazon effect” that accelerated e‑commerce growth.
The company’s expansion was driven by client requests to distribute and service their products across North America. Over the past two years, Globeius has added 11 new product lines, three of which were showcased at Amerimold (Sept. 21‑23, Donald E. Stephens Convention Center, Rosemont, Ill.).
At the trade show, Globeius displayed a range of technologies, including material handling, mold cooling, end‑of‑arm tooling (EOAT), mold storage, and dry‑ice cleaners sourced from leading suppliers such as Matsui, MouldPro, FIPA, Slide, and Crizaf.
In its second year, Globeius made a notable debut at Amerimold, positioning itself as a comprehensive provider for the plastics manufacturing industry.
