MGS Mfg. Group Elevates Shawn Krenke to Chief Technology Officer & SVP of Automation
Molder, moldmaker, and automation cell supplier MGS Mfg. Group (Germantown, Wis.) announced the promotion of Shawn Krenke to Chief Technology Officer and Senior Vice President of Automation. In his new role, Krenke will lead the design and integration of advanced automation solutions that streamline the manufacturing of intricate components.
Krenke will spearhead the evolution of automation technologies—including multi‑shot equipment, vision systems, inspection tools, and assembly solutions—while driving the seamless adoption of iMGS and other cutting‑edge technologies across MGS’s North American and European facilities, building on the momentum from the Formteknik acquisition.
With 22 years of experience at MGS, Krenke has held multiple leadership roles in automation and engineering, most recently as Vice President of the Automation Group—a division he founded. He joined MGS straight out of Moraine Park Technical College and has been instrumental in shaping the company's technological trajectory.
