Testing High‑Pressure and Low‑Pressure Cut‑Out in Refrigerator Compressors
How to test high and low pressure cut out of refrigerator compressor?
Low Pressure (LP ) cutout- Just close the outlet valve of the condenser and the compressor will cut out at low pressure as the supply of the refrigerant is hindered.
High Pressure (HP ) Cut Out :- It is tested by lowering the setting with the help of adjusting screw to alter spring pressure on high pressure (hp )cutout unit.lower it to less setting and compressor will stop at high pressure (hp )cutout.
