For Industry 4.0 solutions to be truly transformative, software engineers must think end‑to‑end— from suppliers to customers—just as manufacturing engineers do. This shared perspective allows them to collaborate with manufacturing experts and develop targeted, high‑impact solutions. For example, a mobile app can empower planners and quality managers during on‑the‑floor walks by delivering real‑time KPIs.

Value‑Stream Mapping for Industry 4.0

Successful Industry 4.0 projects hinge on identifying the moments that yield the greatest impact. Our consulting framework uses VSM and VSD to kick‑off workshops that pinpoint where digital initiatives can deliver the most value.
