UVEX HexArmor Helix 3014IMP – Impact‑Resistant Gloves with Superior Flexibility & Cut Protection

uvex has introduced the HexArmor Helix 3014IMP, a new impact-resistant glove that combines high flexibility with advanced cut protection. The latest addition to the award-winning HexArmor® range has been developed for industrial professionals who may previously have considered impact protection unsuitable due to comfort or dexterity concerns.

Impact-resistant gloves have traditionally been associated with bulky designs that restrict hand movement and limit precision. The uvex HexArmor Helix 3014IMP challenges this long-held perception by offering exceptional dexterity alongside robust protection.

Engineered for applications where both safety and agility are essential, the glove delivers high levels of impact and cut resistance while remaining ultra-lightweight, flexible and comfortable for extended wear.

Innovative i2™ impact protection system

At the core of the glove is uvex HexArmor’s patented i2™ back-of-hand impact protection system. This advanced design features individually articulated hexagonal guards that flex naturally with the hand, allowing unrestricted movement while maintaining full coverage across the knuckles and fingers.

Developed in-house and refined through hundreds of design iterations, the i2™ system balances protection, breathability and comfort.

The distinctive hexagonal structure plays a key role in reducing bulk. With a 30% lower profile compared with other brands, the low-height geometry and material composition of the i2™ guards make the glove 44% lighter than comparable impact-resistant models while maintaining equivalent levels of impact protection.

This creates a glove that feels closer to a high-performance cut-resistant liner than a traditional impact glove, making it suitable for precision-focused industrial tasks.

Advanced protection engineered for performance

The HexArmor® Helix® 3014IMP combines advanced materials and ergonomic design to meet the demands of modern industry and UK safety standards. Key features include:

Suitable applications

The HexArmor Helix 3014IMP is well suited to a wide range of industrial and manufacturing environments including:

Designed for real-world safety and compliance

The development of the i2™ impact protection system highlights uvex HexArmor’s focus on practical innovation and user acceptance.

This glove is for those who’ve tried impact protection in the past and decided it wasn’t for them,” says Clair Weston, head of marketing at uvex. The team wanted to create a glove that delivers serious protection while feeling like it belongs in a precision environment. The Hexarmor Helix® 3014IMP finally bridges that gap.

By combining cut level F resistance secure grip performance and next-generation impact protection technology, the glove helps protect against common industrial hand injuries including back-of-hand impacts and cuts. Its breathable flexible design encourages consistent use which supports safety managers in improving PPE compliance and adoption across varied industrial tasks and work environments.
