5 Essential Steps for a Successful Multi‑Site CMMS Implementation

Before beginning a multi-site CMMS roll-out, set the stage for success with these five preparatory steps:

  1. Ensure you have stakeholder support at both the corporate and site level.
  2. Construct a vision for your CMMS. Work with your Implementation Specialist to identify the success criteria for each site (and how to consistently measure and track those criteria).
  3. Collaborate with your Implementation Specialist to build process workflows that support the vision.
  4. Plan to have data gathered, reviewed, and ready to import at the start of each site implementation.
  5. Continuous improvement: Once the sites have implemented their CMMS, partner with your Customer Success Manager to review progress on a quarterly basis, checking the vision and success criteria and identifying areas for continuous improvement.
