Eruditio Announces Leading Reliability Workshop in South Carolina to Connect Maintenance & Reliability Professionals

On August 9, Eruditio is hosting the Leading Reliability Workshop to connect maintenance and reliability professionals with industry experts in preventive and predictive maintenance. The Leading Reliability Workshop will be hosted at the former Navy ship, the USS Yorktown, located in Mount Pleasant, South Carolina.

While the day-long workshop will include several speakers, Fluke maintenance and reliability expert Gregory Perry, CRL, is presenting information about Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) technologies and how they help teams monitor assets and aggregate data similarly to the health-care industry.

According to the event website, “In the medical world, nurses and physicians use multiple techniques and technologies to screen a patient’s health and physical condition. In the industrial sector, the maintenance and reliability professionals are the medical staff, and our patients are our assets. We need the ability to listen to what our equipment says about its condition, before it loudly informs us through smoke, fire and complete failure.”

In the afternoon, you will have a hands-on opportunity to explore the new sensors from Fluke Accelix and new technology from the other presenters. This event will follow a two-day FMEA workshop. Plan to come to that event as well, and make it a three-day workshop.

As a bonus, the first 20 attendees to sign up and commit are invited to participate in the afterhours session from 4-6 p.m. in the USS Yorktown F-35 flight simulators. Here, mission (project) planning, communication and risk, and high speed execution will be discussed while you barrel roll, launch missiles and destroy targets (competitors) in the simulator. This one-of-a-kind facility is only available though Eruditio and The Institute at Patriots Point.
