What is an asset hierarchy?

Use asset categories to streamline searches

When you add equipment, assign both a physical location and an asset category (e.g., HVAC, Electrical). This dual classification gives you two powerful filtering options: by location or by asset type.

For instance, to find a “Twin Fan Set” you can drill down through Main Facility > Roof > Twin Fan Set—just three clicks. Alternatively, select “HVAC” from the category list and search within that subset.

Program your own asset tag or code
