EZ Maintenance Web Introduces Real‑Time Alerts to Pagers, PDAs, and Phones

Link It Software Corporation announced on July 18 a new feature for its Web‑based maintenance platform, EZ Maintenance Web.

EZM Web lets users schedule preventive maintenance and manage inventory for any quantity of equipment or vehicles from any location with an Internet connection.

The latest enhancement enables users to automatically send maintenance alerts—with detailed instructions—to pagers, PDAs or cell phones.

“EZ Maintenance Web is the direct result of customer requests for an easy‑to‑use online approach to maintenance and inventory tracking,” said Link It CEO Wayne McFarland. “This enhancement reflects the feedback we receive and our commitment to delivering responsive solutions.”

McFarland added that the alert feature lets EZM Web users capitalize on the Internet’s immediacy to address maintenance needs in real time.

EZ Maintenance Web builds on the capabilities of Link Software’s popular Windows‑based EZ Maintenance Network, adding web‑specific advantages. It scales to support large, multi‑location enterprises with hundreds of employees, as well as small firms managing just a few assets.

Key features include:

• Online maintenance and tracking: schedule regular, recurring and emergency preventive maintenance for any number of vehicles or equipment, view progress in real time from anywhere.
• Online work orders: customers, field staff, vendors or tenants can submit requests and monitor status online; work orders can be routed to employees or external contractors.
• Full inventory control: manage all maintenance supplies online and order directly from vendors through EZM Web.
• QuickBooks integration: real‑time data transfer of customer and job information, eliminating duplicate entry.
