Azima DLI Launches ExpertALERT 3.40 – Faster, More Accurate Machinery Condition Assessment
Azima DLI, a leading provider of predictive machine condition monitoring, announced on April 5 the release of ExpertALERT 3.40. The upgrade empowers manufacturers to elevate plant performance by prioritizing repairs and focusing on reliability and uptime, thanks to faster data collection and real‑time insights delivered through the Azima DLI WATCHMAN Reliability Portal.
The automated solution gives plant managers clear fault diagnosis, severity, and repair priority for every machine in the system. Ideal for companies facing workforce and budget constraints, ExpertALERT supplies timely information that not only identifies critical faults before they occur but also eliminates unnecessary maintenance.
ExpertALERT 3.40 introduces a suite of productivity and performance enhancements:
- 50% faster data collection for DCX and DCA‑60 collectors: Collection time reduced from 37 s to 19 s.
- New User Defined Point (UDP) capabilities: UDPs can now be set at plant or area levels, enabling external file integration and streamlined reporting across machine groups. Replication between master and subscriber databases is also supported.
- Improved bearing fault accuracy: A dedicated Bearing Database Update Tool allows users to refresh standard bearings without altering newly entered data, enhancing fault frequency precision.
- Windows 7 support: ExpertALERT now runs on Microsoft Windows 7.
- Quick Review of automated analysis: Unreviewed results can be automatically filtered by severity via the Expert menu.
- Single‑axis sensor support: A new collector option lets users switch to single‑axis mode, capturing data in all three directions with a single‑axis sensor on Channel 1. The system prompts for each axis in turn.
- Override sensitivity for triaxial accelerometers: Users can specify individual sensitivity settings for all three axes, overriding the database default. Additional fields capture sensor model, serial number, and required sensitivity (mV/G) for each channel.
“Azima DLI’s services and solutions target plants that recognize the direct link between ROI and performance,” said Jonathan Hakim, president of Azima DLI. “The urgency to reduce operational costs has left many manufacturers grappling with maintaining their condition‑monitoring programs. ExpertALERT delivers critical machinery health data that ensures optimal performance and uptime while boosting employee productivity.”
