Metso Expands Global Service Network with New 31,000‑sq‑ft Facility in Mesa, Arizona
Metso has announced the construction of a 31,000‑square‑foot service and repair facility in Mesa, Arizona, set to open in the fourth quarter of 2014. The new center will be seamlessly integrated with Metso’s existing operations in the region, providing faster, more localized support for customers across the United States and northern Mexico.
Designed around the region’s installed equipment base, the state‑of‑the‑art facility will support large‑scale grinding mills, crushers, and screens. The plant will feature a spacious service area equipped with two 60‑ton bridge cranes, dedicated welding and machining bays, and dedicated offices for Metso’s experienced services team.
"Bringing service closer to our customers is a core pillar of Metso’s global strategy," said Randall Reisinger, Metso’s Vice President of Service. "By expanding our footprint in Mesa, we can develop solutions more effectively and accelerate delivery times for the mining and construction sectors, while also strengthening our presence in northern Mexico."
In addition to comprehensive onsite repair and field service, the new center will offer advanced repair capabilities, ensuring minimal downtime for critical equipment. The facility will join a growing roster of Metso service centers worldwide, with additional locations currently under development in Mexico, Peru, and Canada.
