Mouser Electronics has added Analog Devices’ ADIS1647x precision industrial inertial measurement units (IMUs) to its catalogue, offering a new tier of motion‑sensing performance for IoT, UAV, smart agriculture, autonomous vehicle, and AR/VR applications.
The ADIS1647x series delivers true six‑degree‑of‑freedom sensing with triple‑axis MEMS gyroscopes and accelerometers. Designed around ultra‑low noise, ultra‑low drift, and industry‑leading vibration rejection, these sensors accurately characterize motion even amid wind, vibration, temperature swings, or turbulence. Each unit—measuring 11 × 15 × 11 mm—undergoes factory calibration for bias, alignment, sensitivity, and linear acceleration, ensuring consistent, high‑accuracy output that can be dynamically compensated in the field.
Key variants include the ADIS16470, featuring a ±2000°/s gyroscope range, and the ADIS16475 and ADIS16477, available in ±125°, ±500°, or ±2000°/s ranges. These options let designers tailor the sensor to the specific dynamic envelope of their system.
To accelerate development, Analog Devices supplies a robust evaluation environment: the EVAL‑ADIS2Z board and ADIS1647x/PCBZ breakout boards. Designers can simply plug a breakout board into the 16‑pin connector on the evaluation board and start prototyping with the corresponding IMU variant.
