Allegro MicroSystems Europe has announced the QuietMotion family, the world’s first code‑free Field‑Oriented Control (FOC) brushless DC (BLDC) motor drivers. Designed to deliver reliable, energy‑efficient performance while keeping noise levels at a minimum, these devices dramatically shorten design cycles and reduce development costs.

Unlike conventional FOC drivers that require engineers to implement complex algorithms on a microprocessor, QuietMotion units embed Allegro’s proprietary FOC firmware.
