VadaTech VPX571: Dual AD9364 RF Transceivers with VITA 67.2 Connector – 3U VPX SDR/SIGINT Platform

VadaTech proudly presents the VPX571, a 3U VPX module that integrates two programmable AD9364 RF transceivers. Each channel is equipped with a tunable transmit filter, enabling seamless operation across TDD and FDD modes for SDR and SIGINT applications.

The module offers flexible RF routing: signals can be directed to the front panel or routed to the rear via a standard VITA 67.2 connector. The AD9364 covers the 70 MHz to 6.0 GHz band, encompassing most licensed and unlicensed frequencies, and supports channel bandwidths ranging from sub‑200 kHz up to 56 MHz. Design integration is simplified through full compatibility with Analog Devices’ RadioVerse toolchain.

Connectivity features include 8 TX/RX SERDES lanes, dual Gigabit Ethernet, 8 LVDS channels (configurable as single‑ended), CPU RS‑232, and management RS‑232 on the P1 connector. A single 64‑bit DDR4 memory channel provides ample buffering for high‑throughput processing and host queuing. The FPGA core is a Xilinx UltraScale+ XCZU15EG MPSoC, offering 3528 DSP slices, 746k logic cells, a quad‑core ARM application processor, dual‑core ARM real‑time core, Mali GPU, 26 Mb of block RAM, and 31 Mb of UltraRAM.

Onboard storage comprises 64 GB of Flash, 128 MB of Boot Flash, and optional SD‑card support, ensuring robust data handling and firmware flexibility.
