AAEON introduces the BOXER‑8150AI, the newest member of its compact embedded AI edge platform family. Powered by NVIDIA’s Jetson TX2, this module delivers exceptional compute performance while supporting up to eight USB 3.0 cameras, making it ideal for demanding computer‑vision tasks.
The heart of the BOXER‑8150AI is the Jetson TX2 system‑on‑chip, featuring a dual‑Denver‑2 and quad‑ARM‑57 CPU core design that yields six high‑performance cores. Coupled with 8 GB LPDDR4 memory and 32 GB eMMC storage, the module can handle up to 256 CUDA cores. It natively supports popular AI frameworks such as TensorFlow and Caffe, and can run customer‑specific inference code.
What sets the BOXER‑8150AI apart is its dedicated USB architecture. Four USB controllers each manage a pair of USB 3.0 ports, reducing data traffic per chip and boosting overall bandwidth.
