Lanner HybridTCA: High‑Density Converged Infrastructure for Ultra‑Reliable Enterprise Systems

Lanner HybridTCA delivers a fully pre‑integrated converged platform that bundles compute, switching, and storage into a single chassis. By consolidating these components into a compact design, the solution frees up 2U of rack space that would otherwise be occupied by separate servers, allowing more efficient placement of network switches and reducing overall footprint.

All power supplies, fans, controllers, and mainboards are built with a modular architecture. This approach simplifies routine maintenance, accelerates fault isolation, and enables rapid, precise technical support and RMA services. The cable‑less design eliminates the typical cable‑connection errors, while hot‑swappability and high serviceability ensure uninterrupted operations.

IEEE 1588, the Precision Time Protocol, synchronizes master and slave clocks across hierarchical systems with nanosecond accuracy—far superior to the millisecond precision of standard NTP. This level of timekeeping is essential for distributed applications and services that rely on exact timestamps.

In global enterprise networks, IEEE 1588 synchronizes branch and headquarters clocks, guaranteeing consistent operation logs across geographically dispersed sites. Lanner’s HLM‑1030B/C chassis includes an optional IEEE 1588 expansion module to meet this need.

The HTCA‑6600 is a 6U high‑availability chassis designed for telecom network appliances. It houses six x86 CPU blades and six I/O blades, and features the BCM StrataXGS Trident‑II/II+ switch fabric (720/1280 Gbps). With six swappable I/O blades on the front, the chassis can accommodate up to two switch blades or six Ethernet blades in a NEBS‑compliant configuration.
