Fiberline Secures Record Carbon‑Fiber Profile Deal with Nordex for Delta4000 Wind Blades

Fiberline Secures Record Carbon‑Fiber Profile Deal with Nordex for Delta4000 Wind Blades

Fiberline (Middelfart, Denmark), which is known for supplying carbon and glass fiber profiles to manufacturers serving the wind industry, announced on June 24 that it has signed a contract with Nordex Group (Hamburg, Germany) covering the supply of carbon fiber profiles for wind turbine blades to be installed on Nordex’s Delta4000 turbine model. Fiberline says this transaction is its largest carbon fiber profile contract to date.

“We are proud to introduce our carbon fiber technology to another global OEM, and we are pleased that a well-established business partner such as Nordex has chosen Fiberline to supply this critical component,” says Jens Guldborg, Fiberline’s vice president of its Wind Division. “Our business model is based on deep knowledge of the material, combined with an equally deep understanding of our customers’ needs. This has once again proven to be a sustainable combination.”
