AuAg20Cu10: Premium 0% Cold‑Worked Gold‑Silver‑Copper Alloy for Durable Contact Applications
The gold-silver-copper material AuAg20Cu10, also Au70Ag20Cu10, 70Au20Ag10Cu, exhibits sufficient corrosion behavior as well as satisfactory wear behavior and is used as contact material (monolithic contact spring material) for tapping contacts as well as potentiometer alloy. It is ductile, corrosion-resistant, oxidation-resistant up to approx. 100°C, resistant to abrasion and hardening. AuAg20Cu10 is non-cutting and machinable, roll-cladable, and can be separated from the gas phase conditionally.
