DIN 1651 Grade 45SPb20 Cold Drawn, Quenched & Tempered Steel for High‑Strength Applications
The fully killed machining steel 45 SPb 20 is used for mass parts of higher strength, especially for lower toughness demands cross-sectional. Its better machinable because of the Pb addition. Application in the automotive engineering, toolbuilding, apparatus engineering (screws, nuts, smal parts).
