EN 10263-4 Grade 35B2 – Annealed for Spheroidized Carbides, Optimized Cold-Forming & Strength
The cold-upsettable steel 35 B 2 can be cold-formed with a medium to high rate of forming according to the usual forming methods on single-stage and multi-stage presses. The steel 35 B 2 is one of the most frequently used steels for pressed parts, screws and tyre bolts of strength class 8.8 in the thin to medium dimension range. For 10.9 parts, the steel is usable up to an M8 dimension according to DIN 267..
