EN 10216-5 Grade X6CrNi18-10 Austenitic Steel – Solution Annealed with Additional Treatment
The non-stabilised corrosion resistant austenitic steel X6CrNi18-10 (1.4948) is heat resistant up to 650 °C. Application mainly in the reactor engineering (Na-cooling circuits in fast breeders), in the steam boiler engineering as well as for pressure vessels and fastener parts. Acc. to DIN EN 1095 : 1999-05 it can be used as heat resistant steel.
