EN 10216-5 X8CrNiMoVNb16-13: High-Temperature, Precipitation-Hardened Steel for Power Plants & Turbines (+AT+P)

Precipitation hardening, austenitic high temperature special steel which is resistant to scaling up to 750 degrees C and is creep resistant up to 650 degrees C. Used in steam boiler and turbine construction, in the chemical and petrochemical industries, for pipes in power plant construction. In the hardened condition it is used for turbine shovels, spindles, screws as well as for construction components in mechanical engineering.
